Scope of work
JPS was engaged by Chevron Australia to apply their extensive LNG experience in an Integrated Operational Support capacity. This Integrated
approach allowed Chevron to take advantage of JPS’s unique skill set and extensive multi-asset experience for the duration of the Train 2 2022 Major Turnaround event, which also included Inlet and Domestic Gas Facility
major maintenance.
JPS resources were directly integrated into the WSLNG Operations team to help de-risk and provide certainty of outcome for the scheduled scope of work. This integration model helped ensure the safe and timely restart of the asset,
the timely completion of the defined workscope and the safe return to service of Train 2 and DomGas.
JPS activities include:

Plant shutdown and de-inventory

Preparation for maintenance (equipment flushing, purging and LEL freeing

Isolation of plant (valve line-up, install/verify isolations, integrity checks)

Permit to work (issue/revalidate/close)

Confined space entry management

Flange management

Smith lock and car seal register management

Completions support (permit audits, system walkdowns)

Return to service and start-up (P&ID line-up, oxygen-freeing, execute restart procedures)
