Safer Isolation, Smarter Shutdowns
JPS operates specialist double block & bleed “Saver” technology via SIA (Safe Isolation Australia) ) to establish a verified gas-tight vacuum between passing valves.
THE DDB-SAVER technology is based on creating, maintaining, controlling and monitoring of a vacuum-lock in the bleed volume.
The bleed volume can either be the section between: both block valves in a classical DB&B configuration, or both seats in the body of a single valve, e.g. most ball and gate valves. The vacuum-lock will make any passing physically impossible!
Safe work downstream is now possible!
The evacuated media can be either vented directly to the atmosphere or can be tied in to a flare system.
Venting to atmosphere can be via the integrated vent stack (typically onshore) or via a hose overboard (typically offshore)

- Gasses e.g. Natural Gas, Hydrogen Carbon Monoxide, etc
- Liquified gasses, either crygene or pressurises. e.g. LNG, LPG, Ammonina, etc
- Liquids, e.g. Crude Oil, Kerosine, Naphta, etc.
what makes it so special
There is no min. or max. limit on pressure class or line size diameter for which a DBB-SAVER can be applied.
Capacity can be specified by the customer, based on the occurring leak rates or experience. Material selection is based on media and process and ambient temperature range.
Standard models are able to handle a wide ratio of leak rates and media, and are available from stock for fast response and emergency services.
The ATEX/IECEx Certified DBB-SAVER can be used for onshore, offshore and subsea deployments for any type of media.
